I love El Bagel and would love to see a location open in Sarasota, FL! Their bagels have the perfect texture--soft and chewy on the inside with a beautifully crunchy exterior when toasted. Truly some of the best I've had. Whenever I'm in the Miami area, it's a must-stop for me. I always leave with at least a half dozen everything bagels to bring back home. Totally worth the detour!

As usual the tiny hole in the wall places tend to have quality food. El Bagel is no different. It is a tiny establishment tucked in next to the Coconut Grove parking garage on Virginia Street. There are 4 stools against the back wall for bar seating and some bench type seats outside. Guys the line to this place is normally well out the door, but we got lucky today was Passover and there was a nearby Farmer's Market so we ordered and got our food very quickly, but be prepared to wait a little normally, but wait because it's worth it! Ordered from the counter and the staff couldn't have been nicer, all smiles and pleasant attitudes. We waited by the window with bated breath for our name to be called so we could dig in! Bf got the SEC (sausage, egg, and cheese on a plain toasted bagel) and I got the BEC (bacon, egg, and cheese also on a plain toasted bagel). These were huge, cheesy af, and so good (a tad messy, but again totally worth it). I also had an iced hibiscus tea which was refreshing for our walk back home. This was worth the hype, I'll definitely be back again! Very soon!

This is my second time at el bagel and the bagels hit every time!! Mind you, you will wait in line every time and you are going to spend $10-$15 per bagel but man are they worth it for a good bagel. Ambiance is very much so that you order and take it to go. Small hole in the wall type of spot but worth the hype. Food - I got the P.E.C - pastrami egg and cheese on a plain white bagel. Fire! Very juicy, a good amount of meat, and lots of flavor. Worth it

As a New Yorker from Staten Island you can't normally convince me to eat bagels elsewhere. This has been on my list of to dos so finally hit up the location in coconut grove. There was a place to walk up and place your order and they take about 10 minutes to get it together. My husband ordered a mid snack bagel, daughter everything with plain and me an egg and cheese with everything. The EC was great and a really good bagel, probably the best bagel I've had in Miami. I give it a solid 4.5 because I'll have to try another to give it a higher rating. My husband wasn't crazy about his lox My daughter loved her everything bagel I'm gonna have to drop by more often for a quick breakfast

Very efficient & friendly. Definitely don't scrimp on toppings.. Order inside, pick up outside window. Reasonable price. Got there a little after 9 on a Saturday, no line. Get extra napkins if taking your order to go for a picnic.

I had the bacon, egg and cheese everything bagel sandwich and it was amazing! The bagel was sooo good. I had it toasted and they put it together. The juices looked good. I didn't try them. It was across the street from the hotel I stayed at.

Good bagels in Miami are surprisingly hard to come by. El Bagel is El spot for a solid bite in coconut grove. You can tell just from the softness inside and the flavorful toppings on the outside that they are made fresh every day. And the cream cheeses are always superb as well. Don't be surprised if you're waiting in line on a weekend morning though. This place is popular and for good reason. Fast casual and with ample extras to make each bagel your very own. Pro tip do not toast the bagels. Eat them fresh and with a generous amount of cream cheese.

I was craving a delicious bagel for breakfast this morning and opted for El Bagel. I went to the location at coconut grove and there was a big line but luckily it goes by fast. I now understand the hype on this place. My lox bagel was delicious and I paired it with iced matcha. The restaurant is quite small and not much room, it be looks clean and organized. They have couple bar stool if you decide to dine in. Definitely worth it, if you want a delicious bagel sandwich.

This tiny little bagel shop pumps out fresh delicious bagels! I had a rosemary sea salt bagel with garlic chive schmear. Great combo. I hadn't realized before going that they had only 4 seats inside, so thankfully nobody was sitting when we arrived, as I was with my 3 year old and needed a place to sit with him. I'll definitely go back, but knowing that it'll be for takeout.

Today I decided to pop in after a workout. I ordered the lox bagel and the whitefish bagel. They were both tasty but not my favorite bagel I've ever had. The bagels do taste fresh but they are on the thinner side (I am from NJ, so this may just be personal preference). They had a unique rosemary salt bagel that is probably best paired with some cream cheese. They also did not have a ton of flavor despite there being a generous amount of seeds on the bagels. The fillings were also good and fresh but a bit underwhelming all together. They were pretty fast with the service and there's a pretty good amount of seating outside. It's a pretty small place and the inside has a pretty fried smell so I wouldn't eat inside, but the outside tables looked nice and clean. Overall, a nice place to make a stop for a bagel.
